Desyn

Plan a room in 2D, step into it in 3D — all in the browser.

Overview

Desyn is a browser-based interior design studio that lets furniture retailers and interior designers turn an empty room into a finished plan without installing anything. Start by sketching a floor plan in 2D and arranging furniture to scale, then switch to a real-time 3D view to walk the space and judge how it feels. Every design lives in a personal portfolio you can revisit, duplicate, share with clients, or export — and it grew out of a university HCI and computer-graphics project built around a clean, approachable workflow for non-technical users.

Key features

  • 2D floor-plan editor

Lay out rooms on an SVG canvas with drag-and-drop furniture, collision detection, zoom and pan, and a deep undo/redo history.

  • 3D room visualisation

Switch any layout into a real-time 3D scene powered by React Three Fiber, with camera presets and toggleable walls to inspect the space.

  • Design portfolio management

Organise every design from a personal dashboard — create, search, filter, sort, duplicate, and delete projects at a glance.

  • Share & export layouts

Export finished designs as images, share them with clients, and keep work saved across sessions.

  • Authenticated accounts

Firebase Authentication keeps each designer behind protected pages so their portfolio stays private.
